Gujarati Suvichar Case Study
Client & Project Overview
Gujarati Suvichar is a mobile & web app that provides a large collection of Gujarati quotes (“Suvichar”) across many categories like life, motivation, attitudes, love, friendship, etc. Users can view daily quotes, save favorites, share with others, browse offline, set widgets reminders, and personalize their experience. The goal was to spread positivity, inspirations, and cultural connection through motivational content in the Gujarati Language.
Challenges / Needs
- Users wanted an app with offline capability so Suvichars are available without internet.
- Large number of quotes (2000+, across 100+ categories) needing efficient organization, search, and categorization.
- Need for smooth, clean UI that supports multiple themes and navigation by category.
- Sharing features: ability to share quotes (text or image), copy quotes, mark as favorites.
- Performance: quick loading of content, minimal delays especially for image-rich or widget features.
- Supporting multiple devices (smartphones, tablets), ensuring the app works well across screen sizes.

Challenges & How We Overcame Them
- Handling huge quote database with offline mode: used efficient local storage / caching; preloading of frequently accessed categories.

- Offline mode correctness: testing when internet not present, ensuring data integrity.
- Enhancing share-ability: making sure quotes appear well when shared (text formatting, image quote generation if any).
- UX feedback: iterating on category layout, readability, avoiding overwhelming users.
